Default Low Cal Deserts

Hello all...

I am new here and wondering if anyone has any ideas on low cal desserts that don't include yogurt. No one in my family likes yogurt and even though we have given it a try the closest we get to consuming any of it is a few tablespoons in a smoothie.

I was looking for something that perhaps we could top of with some smarties or maybe a few m & m's but isn't tons of calories...
I don't eat chocolate but the kids enjoy it once in a while.
I see loads of recipes for cakes cookies etc... but we don't eat cake or cookies really.

Maybe some low fat ice cream.? i know there is always fruit, but even that can get to be a bit much all the time.

Any help

Default Low Cal Deserts

Hello people.
I know a pretty good one.
1 3/4 cups of fat free milk, 2 packages of sugar free, fat free vanilla puddings, 6 oz. of frozen lemonade thawed, 8 oz. of fat free cool whip thawed, 1 ready made graham cracked crust.

Take care.

Fat Free Cheesecake Bites

1 cup 1% light cottage cheese

3 teaspoons Splenda (low cal sweetener)

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon finely chopped lemon zest

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

6 graham wafers, each broken into four equal pieces

whole small berries or thinly sliced strawberries for garnish

****************

1. Add all the ingredients, except for the graham wafers and berries, into a food processor.

2. Puree on high speed for approx. 30 seconds. Scrape down the sides and process on high speed for another 30 sec- 1 minute or until the mixture is smooth.

3. Chill in the fridge for 2 or more hours to firm up the mixture.

4. Top each of the wafer pieces with 2 teaspoons of the cheese mixture and a small berry or strawberry slice.

Makes 24

Each cheese cake bite has approx 16 calories, 1.5g protein, 0.3f fat and no trans fats.

The recipe says even if you hate cottage cheese to try it as it smooths out as you mix it and the added ingredients will make it very flavorful.
