I have been to Italian restaurants after searching them in http://www.just-eat.co.uk and had delicious pastas and pizzas but never thought that making pastas is so easy.

I agree with you Ginny. I am also an avid visitor of http://just-eat.co.uk but never thought that a pasta recipe can be so simple and tasty.

I used to visit Italian restaurants after browsing through http://just-eat.co.uk. However I tried your simple yet tasty pasta recipe and added pepper and basil leaves. The result was simply awesome.

I love pasta!!!It is so simple to prepare....

I am sure that you love the Amatriciana...here it is

Serves 4.

ˇ 500g (1lb 3/2 oz) Pasta Spaghetti, Bucatini or rigatoni.
ˇ 100g (3 ˝ oz) Guanciale fat pork cheek cut in thick cubes.
ˇ 500g (1lb 3/2 oz) fresh S. Marzano tomatoes (long tomatoes give sweeter taste) or one tin of peeled tomatoes to make the sauce.
ˇ 100g (3 ˝ oz) grated Pecorino cheese not too salty (from Amatrice).
ˇ 1 spoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
ˇ ˝ glass of white dry wine.
ˇ a pinch of chilli peppers (not too much - approx 1/4 tsp of seeds)

ˇ Salt as needed.

This should make for a quick and simple appetizer for any holiday party. Skewered Tortelloni with Tomato-Basil Cream Sauce.

You can find the recipe here:

I love that they are on skewers, makes it easier to snack.

Ginny...I used to feel the exact same way....I always thought it was something that was complicated....then one Christmas I got a Kitchen Aid stand mixer with a pasta roller attachment...I have hardly bought store bought pasta since...

I make a great ravioli....

Take you pasta recipe and roll it out....

take some mushrooms (whatever kind you like, if using dried mushroom, make sure you rehydrate them first), feta cheese, fresh parmesan, oregano, salt, pepper, basil, and a little olive oil....put it all in a food processor and make it into a paste....stuff your raviolis with that.....awesome!
