| Re: Diet Advice Hello.
Yes, working out is very important, also you need to eat healthy food. I know a very interesting diet you can use accompanied by a normal eating life. It's a 14 days diet, you just squeeze one lemon the first day and drink the juice, second day, two lemons, third day , three lemons to the seventh day. After that you go down counting six lemons, the day after you drink five and keep it up until you drink only one the day number 14.
Take care and drink water as much as you can.

| Re: Diet Advice There are several kinds of diets: - Weight-loss diets restricts the intake of specific foods, or food in general, to reduce body weight. What works to reduce body weight for one person will not necessarily work for another, due to metabolic differences and lifestyle factors. Also, for a variety of reasons, most people find it difficult to maintain significant weight loss over time — among individuals that have lost 10% or more of body weight, only 20% are able to maintain that weight loss for a full year.[1]
- Many professional athletes impose weight-gain diets on themselves. American football players may try to "bulk up" through weight-gain diets in order to gain an advantage on the field with a higher mass.
- Individuals who are underweight, such as those recovering from anorexia nervosa or starvation, may adopt weight-gain diets which, unlike those of athletes, have the goal of restoring normal levels of body fat, muscle, and stores of essential nutrients.
Many people in the acting industry may choose to lose or gain weight depending on the role they're given.
As more cultures scrutinize their diets, many parents consider putting their children on restricted diets that actually do more harm than good. This is extremely deleterious to a young child's health because a full and balanced diet (fats, carbohydrates, protein, vitamins, minerals, fiber, etc.) is needed for growth. A doctor should be consulted before putting any child on a specialized diet.
Research also shows that putting children on diet foods can be harmful. The brain is unable to learn how to correlate taste with nutritional value, which is why such children may consistently overeat later in life despite adequate nutritional intake. |

| Re: Diet Advice For those of you interested in losing weight, specifically, be skeptical of "diet plans". There are thousands of them out there, many are based on the same premise and most do not teach you how to sustain a healthy weight for life.
If you do choose to "diet", at least understand the relationship between the foods you eat and your health. Understand how certain fruits and veggies effect your body and mood. It may sound obvious, but folks jump into "dieting" blindly and end up losing money (and not weight!).

| Re: Diet Advice http://goodfoodtweater.blogspot.com/ Hi
Just a reminder to get the objective right first before starting a diet.
is the reason to detox, lose weight, prepare for an event (like triathalon) or as part of a regime to fit illness?
These types of questions will make the diet "type" clearer.
it would be bad to find oneself doing a detox diet when exercising regularly for a triathalon preparation!
My new blog just started http://goodfoodtweater.blogspot.com/

Anyways, understanding how foods effect your body is a great way to lose weight. Lettuce, for example, is a great food to eat if you're looking to shed.
Every food will have some function in the body - know and understand them and you gain so much more control over your body: http://tinyurl.com/nom4px

| Re: Diet Advice I agree 100% you have to lower your intake and increase your metabolism in order to realize healthy weight loss. For me, I try and stay away from anything white and have been exercising regularly now for over a year. I have lost 45lbs so far. Be patient because healthy weight loss is a slow proccess. Do not get discouraged and remember it's not what you just ate it's what you eat next.
