Default Which food can prevent dental caries?

Milk and dairy products in these foods contain a lot of calcium, calcium can inhibit bacterial acid production, and to prevent the teeth of dissolved calcium and phosphorus compounds. Also contained in the milk of immunoglobulin and enzyme can inhibit the growth of bacteria in the mouth.

More food containing fish, shrimp, seaweed, jellyfish, tea and mineral water content in many of fluoride to teeth with calcium and phosphorus compounds in the formation of poorly soluble fluoride apatite, thus preventing the acid produced by bacteria with the erosion of teeth

Chewy, sticky foods such as dried fruit or candy are best if eaten as part of a meal rather than as a snack. Dental sealants can prevent cavities. Sealants are thin plastic-like coating applied to the chewing surfaces of the molars. Fluoride is often recommended to protect against dental caries.

To check the deleterious activities of cariogenic bacteria. Anticaries food additives and antibacterial agents is the most common infectious disease affecting human teeth. Acidic soft drinks are capable of desolving considerable amounts of calcium fluoride and the erosion-preventive effect of even high fluoride concentrations is limited.

Eat fiber rich raw food which massages the gums and cleans the teeth. Good raw foods like apple, carrot, radish, cucumber, orange, pear, beetroot, watermelon, etc are good for teeth.
Eat some raw food after every meals. This will help clean your teeth and gums due to high water content. Eat high protein foods.
Dried fruits such as dates, raisins, and figs. Other options are fruits such as bananas, apples, and oranges; veggies such as baked beans, Brussels sprouts, and peas; peanuts, almonds, and bran are good for teeth.
Whole grains have magnesium an important ingredient for bones and teeth.
Calcium is present in leafy greens such as broccoli and bok choy, canned fish with bones, almonds and Brazil nuts, and dried beans.

Caries is the Latin word for rotten. Dental caries meansrotten teeth. It's the professional name for tooth decay. Dental caries is a localized infection by bacteria that generate acids. The acids involved dissolve tooth structure. At first the damage caused appears as a white area on the tooth surface. Most often it grows and a soft dark brown area develops. As the destruction of the tooth continues, the decay eventually insults the nerve living inside the tooth and a root canal is needed.

Unfortunately, dental caries can often destroy a tooth without any pain. The first sign for some patients is tremendous pain with the death of their tooth. At times a tooth that has a cavity will be sensitive to sweets or hot and cold. Because tooth decay can be silent, it is especially important to have regular dental check ups.
