Default School Food Safety Tips for Parents and Students

When packing lunches to take to school or the office, keep the following food safety tips in mind:
*Wash your hands with warm water and soap for at least twenty seconds before you prepare food .
*Work on a clean surface.
*Rinse fruits and vegetables under running tap water.
*Use an insulated lunch box, with an insulated bottle for hot foods.

I like the idea of an insulated lunch box... When I was young at school we had a lot of ant nests, guess what happened when I left my pack on the ground for a minute or two?
