Who is a better chef- men or women?

I had a fight with my girlfriend yesterday over who has better cullinary skills- men or women? I firmly believe that men are way better at cooking than women and this can be seen from the fact that restaurants all over the world employ males as chefs. I hope I can garner some support from this forum to prove my girlfriend wrong.

i agree with you that most restaurant chefs are male
but if you ask them how inspired them it ,they will always point to a female like mother,grandmother.
