Default How to Barbeque Chicken

Barbequeing a chicken is not easy.

It takes a little bit of skill and knowledge before you get started.

There is a great article on this at:

http://www.ehow.com/how_5381087_barbeque-chicken.html

Check it out and see if you have any more suggestions!

Happy grilling!

How do you use a read thermometer? I've never used one, but am very interested in how it is used.

but what happens if you don't have charcoal or anything and you have a propane grill?

You can do it the same way as described in the article for charcoal. Actually it is easier with propane, because you don't have to worry about burning the chicken, as the flame does not jump up normally, unless perhaps you have turned it way too high and the wind is extreme. It is pretty much the same, but the flavor will be a little different, as the charcoal gives it more flavor, in my opinion. You should still cook it for the same time period, about 1 1/2 hours for half broilers. You can cook it for less time if you already have it cut up into drumsticks, breasts, thighs, wings.

The best way to make sure it is done, as the article says, is to turn the bone of the drumstick, or any bone that is sticking out for that matter, and see if it turns freely. If it does not, it is not ready. Also, check to make sure that none of the meat looks pink.

Talking Re: How to Barbeque Chicken

I was looking for a recipe for BBQ Chicken and I came across something really great from King's Hawaiian. It's a recipe for BBQ Chicken Dim Sum. My boys really liked it. I was surprised since they are such finicky eaters!

You can check it out here: http://www.kingshawaiian.com/recipes...ChickenDimSum/

Hope you enjoy it, I sure did!

Thanks! It really is a good recipe. Definitely has a little island flavor that's perfect for the Summer! This is another Summer recipe for chicken sliders that I plan on making for my boys sometime soon. I'm really looking forward to trying it out! http://www.kingshawaiian.com/recipes...kenSandwiches/

Wink How to Barbeque Chicken

Barbeque is way too far buddy! Should be authentic when done. Just a couple of days back tried this site that offers free recipes and what's more it is healthy of another barbequed chicken. Interested..?
