Default Healthy Food

What comes to your mind when you think about healthy food? Some say you can never go wrong with fresh fruit and vegetables, others say that meat and seafood are also good for us.
Theoretically we all know what is healthy, but on a practical level we also like food that tastes good to satisfy our taste buds.
In this programme Yang Li interviews six people with different lifestyles on their views of healthy food.
What could be more healthy than growing your own vegetables in the garden?
I have noticed lots of food in the UK marked with "low fat" and I want to know what do british people think about healthy food?

Hi Raymond. When I think of healthy food, the first thing that comes to my mind is - the food should be nutritious enough to provide me the energy so that I can be active throughout the day, but it's is necessary that It should help me to maintain my weight as well. Unfortunately, growing vegetables in the garden is not possible for everyone and for people with a work schedule like mine, it is even difficult to cook healthy food at home. That's the reason why I've been using Bistro MD diet food. It's low on calories and very healthy. They deliver it to my place and it's really a good for working moms like me.

yup it works if you know how to discipline yourself. Seeds, whole grains and are really effective on dieting. The top 3 diet foods are chia seeds (try hidalgofoods and nutsonline) , acai powder, maca powder

I do not have much options in my hand but to refer most of the diet programs as diet fads. I have always looked for getting the best advices about these diets which can help me not only to maintain my weight but also to ensure the overall goodness of health. But my friends I have not always managed to come across these diets which can be really effective. The recent concerns for me are the problems in vision which is not making my conditions any better. I am clueless if there are any diets that can help me in this aspect.

Fruits and vegetables are staples of a healthy diet, but it’s also essential to avoid eating too many processed foods. I just graduated from college and ate way too much processed stuff (it’s just so much quicker!), but I’ve gotten better recently. That’s about all the wisdom I can impart. However, I feel compelled to mention that there is a sweet radio show on every Monday at 8:00 pm PST that features an expert who answers listeners’ questions, and this week just so happens to feature a renowned chef named Daniel Asher. He does a lot with organic and locally-grown food, and I’m sure he’ll have some solid advice on healthy foods (probably some pretty unique stuff that we may not be available). The show is called Now You Know Radio, and you can find it at the following link:
http://www.blogtalkradio.com/nowyouknow
Does anybody want to call in? I will, but I’ve done it before so I don’t want the hosts to think I regard myself as entitled to every guest’s ear.

There are many studies on the health effects of different diets. Populations that eat the Mediterranean diet and the DASH diet have been studied a lot and are consistently among the healthiest. The diets emphasize grains (intact), vegetables, fruits, nuts, and lesser amounts of dairy, fish, poultry and meat. Adding herbs and spices can turn these foods into real taste treats. If you enjoy the texture added from fats, using olive oil instead of lard or butter will usually satisfy. The common thread in these healthy diets is that they are high in potassium, fiber, antioxidants and other nutrients. And they are low in calorically dense ingredients, saturated fat, sodium and other preservatives.

When i think about healthy food then first of all fish and meat come in mind and then all the fruits and vegetables come at second and at the last milk comes in healthy food.
