Default Eat vegetables and lose weight


I lost 15 pounds so far, eating veggies, and I actually am enjoying it!. Well duh you say- anyone can lose weight by eating veggies- but can you stick with it for more than a minute??. If you would like to continue the discussion, check out-vegatthetable.blogspot.com

spinach,carrots,potaoes is great for diet.
especially potatoes provide satiety in the stomach and has a low calories.

I totally agree that vegetables are the best foods to eat for weight loss. But they're not the only good foods in that regard. Fruit is great too because it's so water-rich, but then again it is full of sugar and especially fructose (we as a society now know about the dangers of fructose thanks to high fructose corn syrup). But if weight loss is your only goal, fruit is supreme. But I've had a lot of success following a raw food weight loss diet myself; I've written rather extensively about it (and am continuing to do so) here.
My all-time favorite vegetable for weight loss is kale - it has practically every nutrient you could ever want, plus a very high proportion of protein (as does broccoli), and tons of fiber (but then again, most veggies do). I also love cauliflower; you can chop it up finely in a food processor with some ginger, almonds, lemon juice, salt, and seaweed and make a delicious, way lower calorie rice substitute. It's raw too!

Vegetables are great for weight loss. Most of them are great for health in general, some especially for reducing blood pressure and increasing bone density. A list of the macronutrients in these vegetables can be found at high potassium foods, including calories for keeping track during your weight loss.

Carrot and potatoes are vey good for loss weight. Carrot is also very good for eyes. Getting vegetables are so important to diet, because when you took vegetables it will require low power to burn more calories. So it's good to have vegetables.

Vegetables are great, healthy foods for losing weight. There is also the added benefit of your body getting the vitamins and minerals it needs to run optimally, which could improve your overall energy level - resulting in more calorie-burning vigor on your part! I would not be surprised if a person's metabolism might improve by getting all of the vitamins and minerals needed.

If you are hosting or planning a party or event, potato nests are a great way to add vegetables with flair into the meal.

It's hard to argue with the health benefits of a diet rich in vegetables and fruits: Lower blood pressure; reduced risk of heart disease, stroke, and probably some cancers; lower risk of eye and digestive problems; and a mellowing effect on blood sugar that can help keep appetite in check.

Vegetable is always good for health and also for loosing weight. Carrot is good for loosing weight. But in potato have a lot of carbohydrates so it is not enough good for loosing weight.

It is hard to gain weight just on vegetables, even potatoes. Weight gain comes from how they are prepared. If prepared with lots of butter, oils, creams or other fats, or if mixed with other calorie dense foods, such as cheeses or chocolate sauces, you can gain weight on them.
